As part of their Local Knowledge Badge, Cubs visited the Tackley Through Time exhibition at St Nicholas’ Church.

Cubs were able to see artefacts found in and around the village, as well as items loaned to the exhibition from local residents. We also learned about the Cataraqui disaster of 1845, where 42 villagers lost their lives.

When we got back  to the hall, we were able to watch a video about the disaster. Unfortunately we ran out of time so were unable to finish the film. If you would like to watch more, click below.
